Water, water everywhere - In January, the 3rd grade students at Thomas P. Hughes School enjoyed a "Watershed Model" presentation. The demonstration provided students with an interactive opportunity to learn about how water absorption, water run off and pollution affect the environment. Additionally, the students held discussions on different ways that they themselves can help impact the environment in a positive way.

Teacher of the Year Nominations - Each year the Board of Education honors outstanding teachers from the six schools. The selection is based on witten nominations. For more information and the nomination form, click here.

All-Star Faculty Basketball Game - The 13th Annual All-Star Faculty Basketball game sponsored by the Berkeley Heights Education Foundation will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, March 11 at Governor Livingston High School. Tickets purchased in advance through any elementary school are $6. If tickets are still available, they may be purchased at the door for $8. Ticket sales will be limited due to fire codes. All proceeds benefit the Berkeley Heights Education Foundation.

Registration at Mary Kay McMillin - Please call the ECC at (908) 464-5583 if you have a child to register for kindergarten. If your child attended private kindergarten, please call for information to register your child for first grade
