The PSAT will be administered to all 9th, 10th and 11th graders at GL on October 14th. Testing will begin promptly at 7:50am and will run until lunchtime. A shortened bell schedule will run in the afternoon, so that students will still meet with all of their Day 1 classes on testing day. Students should be well-rested and should come prepared with a calculator (optional) and number 2 pencil. Extra pencils will be available, however, calculators will not be provided.
While the PSAT is being administered, Senior students will be engaged in various activities. The PTO will host their annual Project Graduation breakfast, which will be followed by a presentation on topics including: surviving the college admissions process and best practices for conducting oneself in the real world.
A 30-minute homeroom will be held for all students on October 13th, the day before testing. 9th, 10th and 11th grade students will be involved in pre-administration tasks, while Senior students will be completing Cap and Gown and Diploma card information.
