Girl wearing a mask.

Thank you so much for all of your efforts in following the guidelines and taking the necessary precautions to keep our children healthy.  You are doing an amazing job!  Every day we are able to remain in school is a testament to you, your children, and our staff working together.

As we approach the cooler months of the year, flu season is inevitable.  However, there are a few things we can do to help our children continue attending school in person.  If your child is not feeling well, please keep him/her home.  If there is a need for COVID 19 (SARS-CoV-2) testing, please be sure to request that the test that is administered is a PCR test.  It has been confirmed that the PCR test has proven to be the most accurate and is the only type of test that is recorded by the NJ Department of Health.  In the event that a positive result is received, it is imperative that you immediately report this information to your school nurse or your building principal.

As we move forward, we must continue to wear masks, (if reusable, wash daily; if not, dispose of it), wash hands or use hand sanitizer frequently, and be mindful of social distancing at all times.

We may not be able to keep everyone healthy all of the time BUT, together, we can minimize the impact of whatever health issues await us over the next few months.

My most sincere thanks to all of you, and please keep up the good work!
