A little bit about me:
I have been teaching for 20 years. I spent 12 years in kindergarten and this will be my eighth year teaching first grade. I received my undergraduate degree from SUNY Cortland in 1984 in Elementary Education and Journalism and my Masters Degree with Distinction in Early Childhood Education in 2009 from Kean University. In January, 2010 I was awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching by President Barack Obama. You can see some photos on this site.
I have two children that attended the Berkeley Heights Public School system from the Early Childhood Center through GL. Alexandra is a 2010 graduate and Madeline is a 2013 graduate. My husband Russell and I have lived in Berkeley Heights since 1993. We have a dog, Nate.
In June, 2020, I published my first book, Protecting You...Protecting Me.
