    MPS Family Friday FYI 10.22.21

    10.29.21 Halloween Parade – 1:30 – Parents must stand on the flag pole island and depart after the students complete their third lap. Outdoor class parties will follow, weather permitting – We will parade in the rain but class parties will be inside and teacher-directed if needed.

    Red Ribbon Week 

    October 23rd- October 31st

     Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that helps educate students on making healthy choices and staying drug-free. Students are encouraged to wear theme attire each day (see below) and will participate in classroom lessons.

    Monday Kick-off red ribbon week by wearing red!

    Tuesday Everyone Counts! Wear clothes with a number on it!

    Wednesday Put a lid on unhealthy habits! Wear a hat!

    Thursday MP Pride! Wear your Mountain Park gear!

    Friday Scare away bad choices and wear your Halloween costume!

    Reminder – 1 PM dismissal on Monday 10.11.21 – No lunch will be served - Students should bring a heavy snack.

    10.11.21 – 9:30 AM – In person at the MPS picnic tables - PTO Meeting

    ***Our October School Level Diversity Equity and Inclusion meeting will be today, Friday 10.8.21 at 3:15 - We will meet at the picnic tables next to the cafeteria – We will hold these meetings once a month and they will be in-person whenever possible – All parents are welcome to attend. We will have representatives from all three grade levels and from the special areas attend. ***

    "Parents, please pick up your Krispy Kreme donut and coffee orders at the school this Friday, October 8th between 3-5 pm.  There will be tables set up near the bike racks.  Thank you for supporting the PTO and our school!"
