Once a year, the World Language Department takes their respective 8th grade classes on an all day fun-filled field trip. In 2014, the 8th grade class visited the Italian Futurism exhibit at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. An Italian three course meal at a Midtown Trattoria and cannoli served in Little Italy made the day even more memorable!
In the past seven years, with the exception of last year due to Covid 19 restrictions, Italian students have been on field trips to the Yogy Berra Museum in Montclair, New Jersey and to the Museum of Immigration in New York. A ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty allows all students to enjoy a magnificent view of the New York Harbor and to take memorable pictures to share with family and friends.
