Mountain Park
    Cartridge and Cell Phones
    Recycling Program
Mountain Park's recycling program has been operational since January 1999. Thank you to all parents, students, and teachers who have been sending in their cartridges and cell phones to recycle. The points are adding up.
Mountain Park, along with the other schools in the district, are now recycling printer cartridges through Cartridge World in New Providence. Please continue to send in your cartridges. The collection box is in the Media Center.

Old cell phones are also recycled. They are sent to another recycling company, The Funding Factory, where they are reprogrammed and donated to crisis and relief shelters located in the United States.
Each year more than 300 million cartridges are thrown away. Also, 30 million cell phones are discarded or replaced. What a wonderful lesson our children learn when they see how important recycling is.
