Highlander pride and a desire to increase the overall awareness of deaf culture prompted the establishment of this Deaf Highlander Club. Membership is open to all deaf and hard of hearing students at Governor Livingston. This student led club, with the support its advisors, sponsors deaf awareness events and activities throughout the school year.  Fundraising efforts allow club members to host guest speakers and participate in educationally based field trips.
