Happy School Year 2022-2023!My name is Jennifer Fischer and this is my ninth year teaching at Thomas P. Hughes Elementary School in Berkeley Heights. I earned my Bachelor of Science from Penn State University and my Masters of Education from The College of St. Elizabeth, including a teaching certificate in Learning Disabilities. I live in Westfield with my husband, three children, and a crazy golden retriever named Swizzle. My son, Zachary, is a junior at the University of Michigan, my son, Noah, is a senior at Westfield High School, and my daughter, Kate, is a sophomore at WHS as well. While I love to teach my students all subjects, I'd have to say that my favorite subjects to teach are writing and math. My 4th graders will quickly learn that I love to tell jokes (sometimes even good ones!), enjoy working together as a classroom family to solve problems, and think that reading each day is so important! I am looking forward to a fantastic fourth-grade year in 4F!
