We will introduce all students to design thinking using the Engineering Design Process through 3D printing, robotics and physical computing. Design thinking focuses on developing essential 21st century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity. Hands-on projects and activities allow students to engage in higher order thinking skills by brainstorming, imagining, creating, testing and redesigning. Learning these skills through integrated projects helps students apply the skills they learn each day and build critical, problem-solving skills.
