Solar

GL's solar array was installed in 2012 along with an array at Woodruff Elementary. There are 517 photovoltaic panels, covering an eighth of the roof. The system has a total capacity of 122 kW and generates about 12% of the electricity we use. 

Woodruff's array covers a third of the roof and generates about 90% of what they use.
