HELLO, MY WONDERFUL K-5th Grade Artists!

    Art Online

Are you done with school for today? Did you finish your art projects for Ms. Harpster? Are you still feeling super creative?! Well, here are a few helpful resources that you might want to use to create some "virtual" art. Grab yourself an iPad or Computer and check out some of these cool apps, online games, and YouTube Channels!

Grab yourself an iPad or device and use these FREE apps to get started on making some awesome and funky art:

    NGA Kids

The NGAkids Art Zone app from the National Gallery of Art introduces children not only to the experience of great artwork, but also to the creative process of producing great artworks. Some of the characters in the paintings can be animated for an extra laugh. The artist can explore color and layering paints, producing works that are similar in style to the famous work but ultimately entirely original. All artworks that are produced can be saved to a gallery and shared with friends.

    Recoloe App

Recolor is a high-quality coloring book on mobile devices which features more than 4000 beautiful art illustrations. Its app is easy, smooth and ideal for on-the-go-relaxation and a perfect tool to channel anxiety into satisfying, creative accomplishment. Recolor is just the perfect way for users to step back from the stress of their everyday life. The "free" version limits some tools but you can create works of art just as well with the limited tools offered.
