H1N1 Vaccine Information Please click on the following links for more information.

If you have called your child’s school to report an absence due to illness you were greeted with a new message requesting a more detailed description of your child’s symptoms or diagnosis.  The reason for this change is that the school nurses are now submitting information weekly to the Union County LINCS Agency.  LINCS stands for Local Information Network and Communication System.  This is the agency from which Berkeley Heights will take direction in the event of a major public health threat such as pandemic flu.  Remember to always report your child's absence so that the school is aware that s/he is safely at home. Please provide the following information:  your name and relationship to the child, the child’s name, grade, and reason for absence.   If it is health related, please be as specific as possible, i.e. bronchitis, conjunctivitis, fever.
Your help in providing us with accurate information is greatly appreciated.
District Tested Emergency Broadcast System - To help prepare for an emergency situation, the Berkeley Heights Schools conducted a test of its emergency broadcast system - Honeywell - that started 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12. To update or change any contact information, click here
If you do not receive a message, please contact your school principal.
