 "Read Across America" - Students at the Mary Kay McMillin Early Childhood Center in Berkeley Heights joined teacher Kathy Rottenberg and millions of children across the country March 2 to celebrate “Read Across America”, which commemorates the birthday of Dr. Seuss and the joy of reading. The school will continue the celebration all month as community and school leaders will read their favorite books to various library classes.

District Preparations for Possible H1N1 Increase - As we begin the new school year, Berkeley Heights Public School District has begun working with the Union County Health Department, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other school districts to prepare for the possible increase in the H1N1 influenza that is anticipated this school year.
