New Student Registration                                              Berkeley Heights Public School District

 

Welcome to the Berkeley Heights Public School District and to Governor Livingston High School, commonly referred to as “GL”.  Governor Livingston High School’s student body is comprised of students from both Mountainside and Berkeley Heights. If you have recently moved in to the area, or have a student that has attended a private school, you will have to register your student through our multi-step process.

 

If you are a Mountainside resident:

1.    You must register with the Mountainside Board of Education before seeking an appointment with the GLHS Guidance Department.  To do so, please call 908-232-3232, ext. 100, Mrs. Fullowan. She will schedule an appointment to meet with you and inform you of the necessary documents you will need to bring for your appointment. 

2.    Once we (and you) have received notification from the Mountainside BOE that your student is registered, you may proceed to the Governor Livingston High School website for our two-step registration process: 

·         Parent/Guardian of the incoming new student will enter student information online. 

·         Parent/Guardian and incoming new student will schedule an in-person appointment to submit required documents, fill out required paperwork, and to discuss/schedule classes.

If you are a Berkeley Heights resident:

 

1.    As Parent/Guardian of the incoming new student, you will have to enter student information online.

2.    Parent/Guardian and incoming new student will schedule an in-person appointment to submit required documents, fill out required paperwork, and to schedule classes.
