Welcome to GL Chapter of the
National Honor Society!
Created in 1921, the National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization designed to recognize those students of high academic achievement. Students that possess qualitites of scholarship, but also leadership, service, and outstanding character, are encouraged to more learn about NHS.
The Governor Livingston High School chapter of NHS prides itself on the quality of student that comprises our membership. Peer tutoring is an essential component of maintaining membership in NHS, with members completing a minimum of 24 hours their senior year. The organization regularly completes several service activities including: canned food drives, clothing drives, and book drives. Students also are involved in the community by volunteering their time to various organizations and events.
Please contact me if you are interested in finding out more about NHS, membership qualifications, or membership activities.
